Globe Shaking Time!

The earth has become increasingly unstable. The financial tsunami (generated by Wall Street credit disruptions) continues washing its way around the world. I'm afraid more White House globe shaking is in store.

The McCain-Palin ticket has that as their core promise. The problem is none of those corrupt Republican snowflakes will leave the protected glass orb. They'll find a new spot to settle, either in the CorporaWhorehouse or on the lawn.

The most worrisome role is that of V.P. Richard B. Cheney. He sits outside the Executive, but not in the Congress. I put him on the Jefferson Memorial, I bet our founding father is not happy. It's hard to wash off Cheney excrement. Don't worry Mr. Jefferson, Dick may soon go to an underground bunker. He was seen slinking around the Capital pushing a blockade on Iran. His missile defense present to Israel just arrived.

Cheney Resurfaces

The secretive Vice President emerged from his dark lair to push legislation. But which bill did he press? The Wall Street bailout witnessed Republican pugilistics. Swinging fists and raging testosterone have been known to draw Dick's involvement.

That leads to the second bill with the usual Cheney stamp, a naval blockade on Iran. It was shelved by Democrats, my guess much to Dick's chagrin. Thus, the V.P. cancelled his trip to New Mexico and Wyoming. It's usually a very bad sign when Mr. Cheney slinks around the Capital. Stay tuned...

Pull Up Your Pants, McCain!

Obama: Modern Day Foot Washer!

Is anyone else sick of people painting Barack Obama as Christ? Someone Photo Shopped his face onto this street foot washer. And the Governor, portraying Sarah Palin as Pontius Pilate? Oh, the outrage! Whoever created this photo wants to spin Barack as the anointed one. They even used Middle Eastern tinted hands, just like Jesus' pigmentation. You have the freedom not to fall for it.

Peres Says U.S. Has No Choice but to Save the World by Stopping Iran

Haaretz reported on Israeli President Shimon Peres' interview with Israel Radio. The article stated:

The United States has no choice but to save the world by stopping Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The New York Times ran a story on Russia's refusal to meet on Iran's nuclear program. The sands on the diplomacy timer may have run out.

The irony is a greed hungover Wall Street has the country and world's attention, instead of the intended United Nations play, orchestrated toward a violent intervention on a recalcitrant Iran. British Prime Minister Gordon Brown meets with George Bush tomorrow. Iran is topic #2 on the list, according to Dana Perino in today's White House press briefing.

While Peres called for action, Israeli right wingers tried to silence the country's peaceful opposition. The terrorists set off a pipe bomb at the home of a leading Peace Now leader. The target was lightly wounded.

Most Americans are shell shocked from the series of financial bombs leveled on our economy. How will we react when the real armaments start falling? I fear it may not be far off...

D.C.'s Morning vs. N.Y.'s Evening Theater

The Senate Banking Committee hearing on Bush's financial bailout of Wall Street occupied throngs the early part of the day. Audiences clapped for their gallant Senatorial heroes, daring to challenge the bailout boys over their nonspecific plan to rescue illiquid assets. Gasps were heard when people learned "troubled assets" included credit derivatives, second liens, student loans, credit card debt, and car loans.

Why did Bush's F-Troop load up the plan with all that non mortgage related lending? Because, poor people don't buy $900,000 credit default swaps on $10 million of Goldman Sachs' credit. Well, it turns out the rich don't either. That's why the credit marked evaporated the last week or so. Rich people don't tolerate payday loan rates for peace of mind on their debt.

So the troubled asset stew grew more sour, and decidedly low income with the addition of the common people's debt. The five hour, one act Senate play ended with F-Troop fleeing the room as Senators prepared pots of tar and tore open pillows for feathers.

This evening's theater focuses on Persian barbarians and what the world plans to do to contain this immediate threat to its very existence. It turns out their 5 foot 4 inch President is really a 2 mile wide, dense chunk of rock hurling at the Earth at breakneck speed. Either that, or he's a super volcano ready to blow. Purchase your tickets, the show should be grand...

Curtain Opens at UN Theater

A powerful play involves a tension filled plot, lots of conflict and sexual energy. The United Nations meeting offers all of the above at the moment.

Sarah “the narrative” Palin goes to the UN on “Hang Ahmadinejad” Day. How will the two fictional stories interact?

1.) Will Sarah shoot Mahmoud’s 2/3rd’s finished nuclear bomb out of his grubby little hands?

2.) Will the little man get mad at all the attention Sarah’s getting and call her a “trollopy cunt”? (Choose your angry little man, McCain or Ahmadinejad for this skit)

3.) Will Tzipi Livni, Ehud Olmert, or whoever the heck Israel’s sends rail on the modern Hitler trying to obliterate their state?

4.) Will Vladimir Putin return Condi’s recent bitch slap?

5.) Will Txipi, Condi, or Sarah win the bathing suit competition at the UN? National security = energy, the sexual kind

Stay tuned, the United Nation's theater is not the only Broadway play vying for the public's attention. The Senate Banking Committee holds a three hour, one act hearing on the Bush bailout for a wide segment of tanking financial products. A pugilistic themed story has a 49 year old black man competing with a grizzled 73 year old military veteran for the right to live in a white house. Which will garner the lion's share?

Goldman Sachs & Morgan Stanley Flee to Protected Regulatory Waters

Over the weekend the last two Wall Street investment houses applied for status as a commercial bank, ending America's long run of stand alone investment banking. What happened in the risky free market? Why did they flee and what scared them so?

Did the slow drip of devalued mortgage backed securities threaten to put the firms under? Or did a surge of something else swamp the corporate coffers? Did credit derivatives play a role? Rapidly rising credit default swaps threatened to drown some firms. The SEC is investigating the trading of unregulated swaps, intended to back similarly unregulated mortgage backed securities.

The Republican spin is similar to our last huge disaster, Hurricane Katrina. Many called poor people stupid for not leaving New Orleans. A Townhall pundit cited the poor taking on high subprime mortgages as the problem. Fortunately, the CNN anchor challenged her, suggesting blame lay all around.

Last week, something blew up. It wasn’t a poor person driving their Cadillac into the offices of Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs or Morgan Stanley. The “peace of mind” backing mortgage backed securities went wild. Credit default swaps went through the roof for a number of firms. That stopped credit in its tracks.

Show me a poor person that invested in credit derivatives. You can't. This is an unregulated rich man’s game and it blew up in their faces. However, the taxpayer gets to bail them out, even from those safer waters.

Over 50,000 Chinese Kids Sick from Poisoned Milk

Secretary of Health & Human Services Mike Leavitt spoke to Chinese product quality last fall in his Ask the White House session. It is timely to revisit his words in light of Chinese milk sickening over 50,000 children. Some 13,000 are hospitalized, with 104 in serious condition. Mike Leavitt said:

"With these agreements (food, feed drugs and medical devices) in place, much of the work of ensuring product safety will be done by the Chinese, who have every interest in meeting our standards."

I can't imagine substituting Chinese entrepreneurs like Americans more than their children. Neither Chinese nor American leaders give a hoot about quality, and it shows.

Compressing 1929-1939 Into Weeks

What a week the world had! It started with Wall Street rescues to avoid a looming financial collapse, the worst since 1929. Taxpayers were drafted to save huge investment and insurance firms. The week ended with a call to address an international threat, the kind not seen faced since 1939 with the rise of Adolf Hitler. Haaretz stated:

Former Israel Defense Forces chief of staff Moshe "Boogie" Ya'alon on Sunday said Israel will not be able to avoid a military confrontation with Iran and called on the international community to stand up to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad like they did against Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany.

"Today, we in the West are facing the same situation, the lack of decisiveness towards a threat that is no less severe than that which Hitler posed in 1939."

Today's Jerusalem Post reported Israel's Defense Minister, Ehud Barak's call for a national emergency government. What decades will we revisit next week? Stay tuned....

The No War Shout

An interesting list of leaders came out vocally against war with Iran. It includes past Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger, James Baker, Warren Christopher, Colin Powell and Madeleine Albright. Reiterating his warnings against violence was Israeli leader Shimon Peres.

Why did so many people scream loudly this week on avoiding war? One must be imminent.

Kuwaiti Prime Minister and Bush Discuss War Plan?

President Bush hosted Nassar al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti Prime Minister, at the White House. Did George W. give Nassar a hard time for revealing Kuwait's mobilization of its war plan?

If Republican Senators submarined an Iranian divestment bill because of Barack Obama's contributions, the plan must be near execution. Surely, elected leaders wouldn't put party over international pressure on Iran. War must be imminent.

That Opaque Bush Administration

President Bush hasn't taken a question from the news media since he arrived in China for the August Olympic Games. The financial meltdown this week produced two short comments, which gave very little information about the problems facing the markets.

One might expect a little openness and transparency, but this has the feel of crisis management with its corresponding hush up. My guess is American financial, business, government and regulatory leaders committed major malpractice. The patient is hemorrhaging badly. How can they throw it a lifeline but not admit any errors?

Rice Offers Russia Her Best Bitch Slap

Sarah Palin's "perhaps" on war with Russia got a wee bit closer, given Secretary Condoleeza Rice's scathing criticism of the Asian power. From reading her comments, the Bush administration continues to berate others for things it routinely does. She had the temerity to say:

The picture emerging from this pattern of behavior is that of a Russia increasingly authoritarian at home and aggressive abroad.

Jaw dropper, isn't it? But there's more. Take the Russian bombers landing in Venezuela and conducting joint training. The U.S. just drilled on Operation Brimstone in conjunction with European and South American militaries. Condi had this to say:

We are confident that our ties with our neighbors, who long for better education, better health care, better jobs, and better housing, will in no way be diminished by a few, aging Blackjack bombers, visiting one of Latin America's few autocracies.

Uh, Condi, some of us Americans want those very things. While trillions in assets are wiped out almost daily, more citizens are unemployed, losing their homes, and struggling without health insurance coverage. Also, last I knew, Venezuela was still a democracy. Sure, the people are losing key rights, but so are Americans. Even under the unitary Presidency with all its secrecy and signing statements, we don't call our government an autocracy. Although some of us call him, King George.

But that could change now that the U.S. has its own sovereign wealth fund, like the Middle Eastern monarchies. The taxpayer bailed out four financial firms, none of them traditional banks. The distressed company fund got capitalized with over $310 billion in taxpayer I.O.U.'s. Hank Paulson did it virtually overnight.

But Russia is not without financial challenges. State Department William Burns said their stock market lost 1/3 of its value and the ruble fell in value But what I really want to know, with our relationship with Russia deteriorating rapidly, is this:

Will The Carlyle Group's $3.53 billion sale of John Maneely to a Russian steel firm go through?

Freedom to Hide a President

Republicans are running so hard against incumbent Republican President George W. Bush, that he must stay virtually out of sight. There are no fundraisers, no stump speeches, no glad handing with the John McCain/Sarah Palin ticket.

Chris Matthews railed against Bush's skulking in the shadows during the current economic crisis, terming his absence "another Katrina moment." He accused Republican operatives of taking off their uniforms and fleeing the field of battle. So far, none have fared well.

At the end of tonight's Hardball, Chris noted McCain would surround himself with the same folks running the Bush administration. Change, in name only.

There is a consequence to Bush's hiding to aid the permanent political campaign. The public is frightened over the large losses in the Dow Industrials, two of the last three days. People expect to hear from their leaders during a crisis, and that's not two Presidential hopefuls, but the guy in charge.

Here's what George W. said during his words of welcome for the President of Ghana:

I know Americans are concerned about the adjustments that are taking place in our financial markets. At the White House and throughout my administration, we're focused on them -- and we're working to reduce disruptions and minimize the impact of these financial market developments on the broader economy.

I've been in close touch with Secretary Paulson throughout this weekend and this morning. I appreciate the work the Treasury Department, and the Federal Reserve, and the Securities and Exchange Commission, and major financial institutions here and around the world are doing to promote stability in the financial systems.

As policymakers, we're focused on the health of the financial system as a whole. In the short run, adjustments in the financial markets can be painful -- both for the people concerned about their investments, and for the employees of the affected firms. In the long run, I'm confident that our capital markets are flexible and resilient, and can deal with these adjustments.

In a matter of weeks, the Bush administration mobilized over $310 billion for the health of four companies, none of them banks. Yes, he had the gall to use the word health, given America's 46 million uninsureds. Disgusted yet? Chris Matthews is....

Nuclear Weapons, Sleeper Cells? Oh My!

It feels like a deja vu, only this time the country ends with an "n" instead of a "q". The rhetoric regarding Saddam's Iraq and today's Iran are eerily similar. Both "want nuclear weapons", as evidenced by their noncooperation with the IAEA.

Each plotted harm to other countries via "sleeper cells." Kuwait let the cat out of the bag weeks ago when they announced they were enacting their war plan, in response to a planned Western attack on Iran. They tried a little CYA by saying 25,000 Iranian Revolutionary Guards are in Kuwaiti sleeper cells, ready to destabilize local regimes. They are "disguised as workers."

Bush just gave 1,000 bunker buster bombs to Israel. Wall Street is in shambles. Dick Cheney recently met with the chair of Goldman Sachs and top brass at BP during his last world war tour. Why is this important? Goldman trades oil futures and BP once stirred a coup in Iran to keep access to its oil.

Bush said he would sprint to the finish. Well, he needs to pick up the pace to catch America's free falling economy. A diversion would come in handy.

Cheney's solution usually involves a shotgun approach. I bet he takes one more shot at sending billions of war business to his corporate buds.

Nuclear weapons, sleeper cells, oh my! Nuclear weapons, sleeper cells, oh my!

"Reluctant" Bush Gives Bunker Busters to Israel

U.S. President George W. Bush and his minions say one thing in public, while their actions indicate something more sinister. His administration's latest move? Haaretz reported:

Despite reservations in Washington regarding a possible Israeli strike on Iran, the American administration will supply Israel with sophisticated weapons for heavily fortified targets, the U.S. administration announced.

The U.S. Department of Defense announced it would sell the Israel Air Force 1,000 new smart bombs, rumored to significantly enhance the IAF's military capabilities.

The Pentagon's announcement, which came on Friday, said the U.S. will provide Israel with 1,000 units of Guided Bomb Unit-39 (GBU-39) - a special weapon developed for penetrating fortified facilities located deep underground.

What else has the Decider done in regard to Israel and Iran, the obvious target of such weapons? The U.S. military drilled for containing Iran via Operation Brimstone. His Treasury Department added and Iranian shipper to the terror list, requiring the U.S. Navy to hold any of their vessels. And Bush gave Israel other critical defense materials.

The Pentagon's announcement also said that the U.S. would help upgrade the Israel Defense Forces' patriot anti-aircraft missiles - which Israel uses as part of its missile-interception array. Israel will also receive 28,000 LAW (Light Anti-Tank Weapon) tube launchers for land forces.

But the most significant indicator of future Bush sponsored violence? V.P. Dick Cheney made another world war tour...

Bush Offers Prescription for Iran's Irritating Assholes

President George W. Bush offered those Iranian assholes a large dose from his Freedhem initiative. What better way to reduce the pain, inflammation and irritation from such a condition, than to use a one application hemmorhoidal cream? George has been itching to intervene.

If they don't accept Freedhem, what might he ram up their backside? If could be cold, hard steel in the form of a ship, plane, or bomb. He ordered the Navy to intercept Iranian ships in U.S. controlled territory. Take the medicine Mahmoud!

U.S. & Israeli Security Trump Everything!

No man made laws outweigh America or Israel's need for security. Under the protection banner, either country can do what they wish. America can violate another country's sovereignty with impunity. It can take away Constitutionally guaranteed rights from citizens, the right to vote and habeas corpus. Israel uses security to steal land and oppress non-Jews.

Free to Foreclose, but Not to Vote?

The rights of Americans continue to wither under the heavy hand of political interests, intent on retaining their hold on power. The latest blow came from a Michigan Republican Party Chair.

“We will have a list of foreclosed homes and will make sure people aren’t voting from those addresses,” party chairman James Carabelli told Michigan Messenger in a telephone interview earlier this week.

Eight protesters sit in a Minneapolis jail with no, as in zero, rights. Habeas corpus, gone under the testimony of a single police officer. The right to vote? Potentially gone from the challenge of Republican Party Chair.

Mr. President, Freedom is not prevailing....

Bush Visited Terrorist Compound

President Bush met with members of the international community at a known terrorist compound. He spoke with the people about the rights and obligations of being an American. In a former era, those rights included free speech and the writ of habeas corpus.

The Republican National Convention showed how far our country has fallen from its original ideals. While V.P. candidate Sarah Palin read her script, police arrested hundreds outside the convention center. As she made fun of Barack Obama wanting to read people their rights, eight protesting American citizens were charged with terrorism. They now have no, as in zero, rights.

The basis for the charge came from police testimony. Local authorities infiltrated protest groups, likely using enhanced surveillance techniques. It remains to be seen how justice will be served.

So why does President Bush remain free, if he went to a known terrorist's compound? Shouldn't he also be charged? Technically, he didn't speak to the lawbreaker. Thomas Jefferson is dead. But TJ did say:

"The oppressed should rebel, and they will continue to rebel and raise disturbance until their civil rights are fully restored to them and all partial distinctions, exclusions and incapacitations are removed." --Thomas Jefferson: Notes on Religion, 1776. Papers 1:548

"As revolutionary instruments (when nothing but revolution will cure the evils of the State) [secret societies] are necessary and indispensable, and the right to use them is inalienable by the people." --Thomas Jefferson to William Duane, 1803. FE 8:256

Mossad to Go Modern Day Nazi Hunting in Iran?

A retired Mossad agent suggested Nazi hunting in Iran, specifically nabbing their elected President and carting him off for trial. The story painted Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as Adolf Hitler incarnated. The agent who captured Nazi Adolf Eichmann in Argentina said:

"That (Nazi hunting) era is over. But that's not to say that such operations are completely a thing of the past," he answered. "It could very well be that a leader such as Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad suddenly finds himself before the International Criminal Court in The Hague."

Referring to the Iranian president, Eitan said that those who "spread poison" and wanted to eradicate another people had "to expect such consequences."

There are several problems with his suggestion. First, Israel is not a signatory to the International Criminal Court. How do they have standing?

Second, might the kidnapping of an elected leader be a chargeable offense under that same court?

If the story isn't presenting a credible option, what is the intent? Could it be another way of calling Ahmadinejad "Hitler" before a planned military intervention? Is it another piece in the puzzle to subliminally mobilize public support for violence?

"Bleedership for America's Future" is Newest 527

A California Republican group hopes to get their new "fear the world" campaign funded. Maybe, Karl Rove will take notice and mobilize a few kajillions for their effort. Oh, their video is much like the tribute to 9-11 from the RNC in St. Paul.

The words and images are intended to steer voters to pick McCain, even though his name isn't mention. Welcome to leading language and subliminal messages.

McCain Has Bush in Rope-A-Dope

Presidential hopeful John McCain continues taking on Republican incumbent George W. Bush. His punches include "spending spree", "corruption", and "valuing power over principle".

The problem is Bush is in his sprint to the finish, trying to wrap up loose ends and tidy everything into a nice winning package.

Never mind, McCain picked a Bush clone as a running mate. She's also a false witness bearing Christian.

But back to the boxing match between George and John. Who will throw a tantrum first? Who will tire from energy expended tying the other up on the inside? Stay tuned...

Virginia Tech Students Threatened with Consequences for Voting in Blacksburg

America is home of political dirty tricks in managing voter registration rolls. Voter caging drops thousands of legal voters from the database. Ohio practices this tactic and it impacted the Presidential vote in 2004.

But the Virginia Tech case is different. A threatening letter was sent to students, identifying negative consequences from registering to vote in Montgomery County. Young voters could lose "their dependent status, health insurance, and scholarships."

Both Ohio and Virginia are swing states, critical for the eventual winner to carry come November. Secretary Rice just hammered Cuba for not having a process to hold free and fair elections. It seems America has similar barriers to such free and fair voting.

Cuba Free to Suffer Catastrophic Hurricane Damage

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice said it's not wise to end the trade embargo with Cuba. The problems involve Cuba's holding of political prisoners and their lack of free and fair elections.

Never mind that President George W. Bush just visited an Asian Communist country committing the same sins. Like Cuba, China has one political party and holds numerous political prisoners, some elderly women who simply applied to protest the loss of their homes to new Olympic venues.

Hurricanes Gustav and Ike devastated large parts of Cuba. So which countries will help them rescue those in danger, feed and house those who lost their homes, and provide resources to help people rebuild their lives? Russia has billions in energy related cash. Might they want to use Cuba to crank up the restarted Cold War?

Cheney Looks for Next Proxy War with Russia

Vice President Dick Cheney continued his war tour through Asia and Europe. The Jerusalem Post reported his words from a press conference in Italy:

Russia has sold advanced weapons to the regimes in Syria and Iran. Some of the Russian weapons sold to Damascus have been channeled to terrorist fighters in Lebanon and Iraq. Russian arms-dealing has endangered the prospects for peace and freedom in [the Middle East].

Both leaders (Cheney and Peres) were in the resort of Cernobbio on Lake Como to attend the Ambrosetti forum, an annual gathering of global political and business leaders. Cheney's visit was part of a tour which has also included Georgia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

Another news report discussed the V.P.'s agenda. It included his talk to the Ambrosetti forum, the content of which is available on the White House web site:

Cheney met first with former president of Spain Jose Aznar at the Ambrosetti forum in picturesque Lake Como, and was later to meet Israeli President Shimon Peres and British Petroleum and Goldman Sachs International Board Chairman Peter Sutherland. The US vice president was scheduled to address the conference, which brings together political and financial leaders to discuss world events, at 5:00 pm (1500 GMT).

Note the meeting with international oil and business leaders. It brings to mind Eisenhower's tampering in Iran on behalf of BP predecessor Anglo-Iranian Oil in 1953. BP has a long history of owning and selling Persian oil assets. Did Dick offer them a chance to get back in?

Goldman Sachs, along with Morgan Stanley, virtually control the oil futures market. Why would Cheney be meeting with Goldman's top leader? Will international instability send those markets soaring in panic buying? Sutherland will know how to play it.

Pariah Bush Pushes Drilling to "Possibly Ease" Prices at the Pump

The target of both presidential campaigns, President George W. Bush, tried to stay relevant. He suggested future domestic supply increases could "possibly" reduce gasoline prices. Yet, those same market forces were heavily in play in the second quarter while prices soared.

Demand fell, as Americans cut their driving miles up to 5%. Prices roared during that same time. They went from $3.25 to $4.06 a gallon. Oil company profits hit record levels, yet again.

No economist has spoken to this oddity. This data breaks the Bush market myth. Oil companies surely saw the decline in volume sales over the three month period. Why did the price go up 25%?

What other myths have been foisted on the American people by Republicans? Conservative pundit Bill Kristol said the appointment of Sarah Palin as Vice President would cause oil and gas prices to drop significantly. Instead of falling, they rose 20 cents a gallon at my neighborhood gas station.

That increase came as a result of Hurricane Gustav, but word is everything came through just fine. Refineries and rigs are OK according to news reports. So why haven't prices taken that Palin drop?

But how did "Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" morph into "Drill Here, Drill Now, Possibly Pay Less"? What does George W. Bush know about international instability that could impact the price of a barrel of oil? He's not known for using qualifying language.

McCain/Palin Asked to Cut "Rocky" Theme

Earlier this year, the copyright owners for the “Rocky” theme song “telephoned the McCain campaign to politely complain it was being used without permission.”

Pretty soon, they could get a call from the studio that made the movie. Wait until they invoke the specter of Apollo Greed in Washington, D.C. The court case could be a knock out!

Republican 9-11 Tribute: More War Propaganda?

The first image in the RNC 9-11 tribute video showed American Embassy workers held hostage in Iran. Audio said, "The first attack occurred in Iran."

The hostage holder looks surprisingly similar to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The Bush administration tried to paint them as the same man several years ago.

The image of Shia university students and their radical leaders kicks off the 9-11 tribute. Yet, fundamentalist Sunni’s carried out the attack on the Twin Towers.

The campaign video said "we'll have a President who knows how", i.e. John McCain. He ended his rousing speech with "Fight with me!"

The fight with Iran is clearly planned. The video is designed to lead America to its next war.

Bush/Cheney Determined to End Fighting

The violent, hyper-competitive duo of George Bush and Dick Cheney continue their "nefarious sprint to the finish". The Vice President is in Georgia, the free country that targeted hospitals, apartments and the university to take back a breakaway province. Their forces were trained and supplied by the United States and Israel.

Pakistan is up in arms over American ground forces entering their sovereign territory to conduct a raid. Previously, the U.S. used drones to fire missiles at targets in Pakistan.

Bush wants Osama bin Laden in the worst way, while Cheney just likes to use force to acquire and control oil and natural gas resources. Did I mention they love Israel and will do anything to protect the Jewish State? Oh boy, more war!

Beating Mortars into Plowshares

Instead of "beating swords into plowshares", America & Israel continue spending heavily on weapons of war. The latest research & development is GPS guidance systems for mortar rounds. Raytheon and Israel Military Industries developed the new high tech weapon. Funny, "Christian America" and Jewish Israel continue their war ways, despite the words of the Old Testament.

"Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore..."

Dutch Intel Says Attack on Iran Imminent

While the pary of preemptive violence gathers in Minneapolis, the Dutch intelligence service suggested a U.S. attack on Iran is imminent.

The impending air-strike on Iran was to be carried out by unmanned aircraft "within weeks," the report claimed, quoting "well placed" sources.

Given the revolving door of Israeli generals through the Pentagon the last few months, I thought Israel would launch the first strike. George W. made it clear the Jewish state could count on Uncle Sam to have its back. Small consolation can be found in the hope that this trip is V.P. Dick Cheney's last war tour.
