Ft. Knox to Hold Gadhafi's Gold?

The Russians floated the idea that the U.S. jailed IMF Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn because he found out there was no gold in Fort Knox.  Information supposedly came from rogue CIA elements.  This issue needs to be addressed by transparent and accountable leaders.

Suppose the U.S. is short on gold, where might they find enough to put on a good show for the public?  Libya's Central Bank has 143.8 tons of Gadhafi gold.

Should Ft. Knox's vault ever be opened, who's gold might we see?  Could it be the fool who entertained Western corporate interests and Bush/Obama dignitaries, also known as bundlers?  There's no such thing as a half capitalist, much less a reluctant one.

Surely, gold is as traceable as cluster bombs and leaders voluntarily live up to their promises of transparency.  That might be a stretch under our leadership corpora-whorehouse, ably passed from Bush to Obama, which leads us back to Dominique Strauss-Kahn.  It's enough to make one gag.

Risk factor:  The Ft. Know gold shown to the public might not be Gadhafi's.  It could be a hologram, like our leaders.

Update 8-27-11:  Gadhafi's gold could be with him in Zimbabwe,  according to Mail Online
