Red Team's "No Kings" Roots

The original orange tinted Republican expressed concern in 2014 over President Obama's executive orders as monarchical, kingly and unworthy of a democracy. House Speaker John Boehner threatened to sue over this violation.   Karl Rove and Senator Rand Paul got in on the characterization.

Boehner's successor in skin color was relatively restrained in his first White House term.  That went out the door for Trump II, the digital Caligula.

Every American should be able to say they are against imperial power, indicate they oppose a monarch acting as the law contrary to passed legislation.

However, that is not the case.  Politics is an insufficient way to explain our world, given its ever shifting sands, serial mistruths and mind numbing double standards.

The foundation of democracy should be more than Bronx Colors Nutmeg WPF06 and a spineless Roundtable.
