Trump's Jan 6 Pardons: Another Savage Whim

The second day of Trump II, the digital Caligula's reign, saw all persons pardoned for their role in the  January 6, 2021 insurrection.  The Capital Dome was defiled, defaced and degraded by Trump's 1776 storm troopers.  

That dome re-installed "Caller of the Wild" into the Presidency.  Moving his coronation out of the bitter cold was due to:

“I don’t want to see people hurt, or injured, in any way."

And that's why Trump sat on his keister for three hours while his mob waged war on the U.S. Capital.  Spare me.

Trump's decision to pardon people who attacked law enforcement officers protecting members of Congress and the Vice President is but another of his savage whims, done with carelessness and mendacity.

Trump demands loyalty without principle, a soul sucking endeavor that never ends.  Shocked members of the political Red Team need to prepare for the onslaught, especially after they install his ghouls.

Trump's savage whims will not stop.  It's who he is.

Update 1-24-25:  WSJ did a variation on Trump's predilections, calling recent moves to strip security protection a "vindictive whim."  Savage, vindictive work for Trump II's mendacity.

Update 1-29-25:  Trump II continues his Jan. 6th rewrite and the House of Representatives formed another committee to investigate that day as well as the previous investigation.  Rep. Greene of Georgia stated "Americans are sick and fuc_ing tired of talking about Jan. 6th."  The new committee was encouraged not to subpoena Trump White House staffer Cassidy Hutchison because of all the texts and e-mails from Congressmen wanting to "fuc_" her.

Update 2-21-25:  The public disfavors Trump's pardoning of Jan. 6th insurrectionists.  83% oppose Trump's granting clemency for violent criminal offenders.  55% oppose Trump's releasing nonviolent rioters.  

Update 6-10-25:  LA Riots or Jan. 6th Insurrection?

....individuals suspected of assaulting officers.... had notified all FBI teams to pursue suspected individuals “long after order is firmly established.”

And the Proud Boys are suing for $100 million over Jan. 6th.  Great way to backdoor fund Trumpy Esptein's private army.

Update 10-31-25:  Trump II's "Just Us" Department is wiping out any mention of Jan. 6th and the violent rightwingnut job riot in legal filings.  Trump II already pardoned everyone involved in Jan. 6tha nd it turns out some were common criminals after all.  They were just his common criminals and thus the need for the "Just Us" Department to do some editing..

President Donald Trump has asserted executive privilege to prevent courtroom adversaries from accessing evidence in a long-running lawsuit that accuses him of stoking violence at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. 

 The Justice Department disclosed Trump’s secrecy claim Wednesday in a hearing related to that five-year-old lawsuit, brought by police officers injured while attempting to repel the violent mob that day. The officers say Trump’s incendiary remarks to a crowd of supporters — and his direction that they march on the Capitol — fueled the riot that nearly derailed the transfer of power from Trump to Joe Biden and left 140 officers injured.

Grift is Good

Three days before Donald J. Trump is sworn into office, the President elect released an official TRUMP memecoin which soared in value.  

One day prior to his inauguration his wife Melania released an official MELANIA memecoin.  From thin air these "coins" had a value over $10 billion.

We are now in the upside down.  This is not your father's political Red Team.  It's not even his son's.

Update 1-21-25:  The pastor who offered the benediction at Trump II, the digital Caligula's coronation started his own memecoin, $LORENZO. Trump did say it's the golden age of America. What better way to kick it off than minting golden calves?

Then Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who were selling and buying in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.

Supplication in the Age of Sponsorship

It's the year 2025 and numerous TechGods have made the pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago, while contributing millions to Trump II's looming coronation.  

A WaPo political cartoonist had her submission turned down.  It pictured newspaper owner Jeff Bezos on his knees offering a giant sack of money.  

The supplication involves earthly things for earthly things.  The TechGod message could be seen as:

I'll give you "truth"

I'll give you money (lots of it)

I'll give you anything for my continued advantage (taxes, regulations, federal $, etc.)

Under Trump II, the digital Caligula, anything goes.  However, there is the ongoing price of admission, preferably paid in digital currency.  

And the rich shall be richer, the powerful-more powerful and the connected can do whatever they like-no rules, no consequences.

Update 1-11-25:  TechGod Mark Zuckerberg indicated his elimination of Facebook fact checking is due to a lack of virtue on his part.

Update 1-14-24:  Add DEI reversals as homage to the great and powerful Trump II.  Semafor reported:

An open-air bazaar has replaced a black market of influence-peddling. It’s unsettling to reporters who are used to having to dig around for evidence of pay-to-play, but it’s fascinating to watch everyone say the quiet part out loud.

Update 1-15-24:  Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg will attend Trump II's coronation and may even sit together.  

Conservative WaPo columnist Jennifer Rubin resigned in response to Jeff Bezos full throated MAGA suckup and Trump II's authoritarian predilections.

Update 12-12-24:  The Defense Authorization Bill passed by the House of Representatives "with a last-minute GOP (Red Team) provision to strip health care from military families’ transgender kids tucked into it."

           They would make a desert and call it health.....

Update 1-10-25:  Fewer than one in a thousand teens receive gender affirming medications.  The Supreme Court decision is expected in June.

Update 1-29-25:  Trump II, the digital Caligula's war on transpersons continues.  

Update 5-7-25:  The Supremes* removed an injunction preventing the Pentagon from kicking out transgendered members of the military.  

Update 6-19-25:  Trans medical bans are OK says the Supremes.

Update 6-30-26:  It's not medical care but the Supremes upheld laws banning transgender women from competing in female sports.

Political Turkey Gorging: Red & Blue

The Red and Blue political teams served up major turkey over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.  Fresh off yet another Nantucket stay at Carlyle co-founder David Rubenstein's estate, Blue Team President Joe Biden pardoned Hunter for any shenanigans from 2014 to 2024.  

Red Team President elect Donald Trump ladled up the French Ambassadorship for fellow father in law Charles Kushner, who's past crimes Donald pardoned in 2020.  

Before the holiday weekend ended, Trump nominated another fellow father in law, billionaire Massad Boulos for Middle East Advisor.

For the average American citizen it doesn't get more turkey than that.  I am grateful the White House has so many plums to hand out to family members.

Wray vs. Patel

FBI Director Christopher Wray spoke on 11-21-24.  His remarks included:

But when I look back over the course of my career in law enforcement, I would be hard pressed to come up with a time when so many different threats to our public safety and our national security were so elevated all at once. 

We're fighting violent crime that reached alarming levels during the pandemic and still plagues far too many communities, but we are making real progress. Last year, our Safe Streets and Violent Crime Task Forces arrested something like 50 bad guys per day, every day, all year long. 

We're also combating cyberattacks, targeting our critical infrastructure and American businesses, both big and small. In fact, when it comes to ransomware alone, we're investigating more than 100 different variants, each with scores and scores of victims. 

We're tackling the cartels pushing fentanyl and other dangerous drugs into every corner of this country, claiming countless American lives. That work includes nearly 400 investigations, and those are just the ones into cartel leadership and our seizure of enough fentanyl to kill 270 million Americans. Just in the past two years. We're also fighting to keep children the most vulnerable among us, safe from abuse and exploitation, arresting hundreds of predators and rescuing hundreds of kids every year. 

At the same time, we're rooting out foreign adversaries looking to steal our innovation, influence our elections, and export repression to our shores. When it comes to China, for instance, we've got something like 2000 active cases across every single one of our field offices. And of course, of course, we're disrupting terrorism, which remains our number one priority, a threat that was already elevated, but one that we've seen rise to a whole new level in the years since Hamas's brutal attack on Israel. In my time as director, we've successfully thwarted multiple terrorist attacks in cities and communities across this country, and each one of those could have had devastating effects. 

And we're doing this work day after day after day. And we're doing it. And we're doing it while facing challenges created by things like warrant proof encryption and violence that actually targets law enforcement at unacceptably high levels. And it's all coming at a time with the shortsighted prospect of budget cuts. The bureau is being asked to do even more.

FBI Director nominee Kashyap Patel said earlier this year:

He would "shut down" the FBI headquarters building in D.C. and "reopen it the next day as a museum of the 'deep state.'"

Former FBI and DOJ officials have repeatedly dismissed the "deep state" claims as false and politically motivated conspiracy theories.

Update 12-14-24:  FBI Director Chris Wray announced he will step down prior to Donald Trumps inauguration.  Sane Red gone.  

Update 2-6-25:  As for who Kash Patel serves, it's Trump II, the digital Caligula, the Donarch.
