Gaetz Virus Disrupts Brief Bipartisan Treat

Americans wanting the warring Red and Blue political parties to work together to solve problems received the briefest of treats when the House of Representatives did not shut down the government, extending funding for 45 more days.

The symbolic petit four lasted but a few days before Rep. Matt Gaetz unleashed his acrimonious norovirus motion to vacate the Speaker of the House.  His verbal diarrhea landed in spurts on the House floor.  Now the House must be closed for cleaning.

Update 10-8-23:  The House will reopen....?

Update 10-18-23:  The House is yet to reopen as areas around world choose terrorism and violence.  The current nominee for House Speaker is a leader of the Jan. 6th insurrection who refused to testify before the committee investigating that disturbing day.

Update 7-17-24:  A Red Team attendee at their national convention put Matty in his place.
