Sneaky Red Team

Slate reported:
Republicans passed a bill that would gut federal judges’ authority to enforce contempt orders—an obvious effort to stop the judiciary from punishing administration officials who disobey the courts.
Reason reported:

the provision "is probably unconstitutional as an attempt to interfere with the inherent power of a court of equity to enforce its decrees with contempt."
Contempt is what Trump II, the digital Caligula, has for laws, rules, norms of acceptable behavior for a world leader.  Toxic Trump uses his toxic social media platform to share his rants and ramblings.

This Memorial Day we remember those who fought and died for our country.  We also remember our country's ideals, which at times we have struggled to live up to.

Our Constitutional Republic is led by a man who refused the fight when called to serve in the Vietnam War.  Now he wages a ceaseless war on everything, everywhere, all at once that does not constantly praise his greatness and willingly submit to his savage whims.

Congress has shown that it is not a counterbalance to an out of control Executive Branch.  Together, the White House and Capital are ganging up on the courts.

Trump II could learn from the various court decisions and adjust policy and practices, but the Donald is always right.  Courts be damned.

Today, we honor those who made the sacrifice of their life in service to our country.  It behooves us to hold up the ideals that inspired them.

The fallen did not fight to enrich a petulant, petty dictator or enable his scorched earth campaign on other government branches in order to install an unaccountable "Unitary Executive."

If we remember who fought and died and why they did so, the United States of America has a good chance of enduring.  Turn off the social media, get outside, listen and you may hear God speak.  It won't be about having more money, possessions or power.  It's not the language of Christian nationalism spoken by our contra-Jesus President.

America was founded on freedom of religion.  For those of us who are Christians, it's two callings.  Love God and love your neighbor.  Trump II has no neighbors as he is on a pedestal by himself.  Donald also said "he rules the world."  Does that make him a God?  Some people would say....

It's the United States of America and countless people fought for it and died.  We need our elected officials to fight for it now.  They took an oath to the Constitution, not to a King.  Congress, it's time to live it.

Update:  Pablum did his usual crash and burn.
