Bush Cut Short Afghanistan for Israel?

President Bush embellished his Middle East trip at the White House Hanukkah party. George W. said he "cut short" his Afghan visit to return for the holiday event. The Great Embellisher turned down a Hamad Karzai invitation to stay longer. Bush said:

"I met with [Afghan] President Karzai, who is determined to help the young democracy survive," Bush said. "And so he said, why don't you hang around for a while? And I said, well, you don't understand. I need to get back to the White House for an important event. The Hanukkah reception is always one of the most special events of the season. Laura and I are pleased to be with so many friends. And we are honored to gather with leaders of the Jewish community to celebrate our final Hanukkah here in the White House."

Senator Joe Lieberman, Republican Congressman Eric Cantor, and business mogul Sheldon Adelson attended the event. The hit of the party was a handcuff less MC Karl Rove. Bush celebrated Israel, as the light of the Middle East. The Jewish state admits discrimination and wants to ethnically cleanse parts of the country. Yet, it's best defense is a good offense.

President Bush might want to return to Afghanistan. The rest of the world wants him to leave.
