Israeli Leader Calls Iranian Naval Exercises Provocative

Iran conducted a large scale naval exercise in the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman. They mobilized a 50 ship armada in Iranian territorial waters. Tehran threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz if attacked by Israel or the U.S. The Jerusalem Post reported:

Ephraim Sneh, leader of the new Israel Hazaka party and former deputy defense minister said "Iran's unprecedented naval activity is actually a preparatory drill to taking over the Gulf and the world's most important oil route.

"The Iranian aggression is a threat to the entire world and should not be passed over quietly."

That begs the question. What should the world do unquietly? How might NATO respond under their new agreement with Israel?
