Haaretz reports Iran Sanctions Failed, U.S. Won't Allow Nuclear Iran

Looking at this morning's Haaretz front page, I ask, "when will the attack begin?" Western sanctions failed, according to IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei.

"We haven't really moved one inch toward addressing the issues," ElBaradei, an Egyptian diplomat and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, told the LA Times. "I think so far the policy has been a failure."

Down the page, I found President George W. Bush addressing the Iranian threat.

"For the safety of our people and the peace of the world, America will not allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon," Bush said at the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution.
George W. has a month and a half to make good on his promise. Gas prices are cheap. Christmas sales look to be dismal.
