Disturbing Red Team News

Florida had one of the strongest open records acts in the U.S.  That is no more.  Florida's Red Team controlled state legislature voted to keep Governor Ron DeSantis travel records behind lock and key.

An Insane Red member of the Florida House actually said:  “Our terrorist enemies hate homosexuals more than we do."

The Texas Senate passed a bill giving the Attorney General the power to overturn election results in Harris County if they run out of paper ballots at 2% or more of its voting sites for over an hour.

The Vice Chair of Tennessee Red Team caucus resigned after an investigation into sexual harassment of legislative employees was completed.

The Insane Red branch of the Red Team is growing.

Update 5-4-23:  A billionaire gave over $500,000 to Herschel Walker for his campaign but the money ended up in Walker's personal business.

Former President Donald Trump told prosecution lawyers that “stars” like him had, “unfortunately or fortunately,” historically been permitted to carry out unwanted sexual assault.

Update 5-5-23:   Former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr said another Trump presidency would bring "chaos" and be a "horror show."  Barr claimed his former boss doesn’t have “the ability for strategic thinking” or “setting priorities.”

Update 5-6-23:  Trump promised to seize university endowments if they practice affirmative action.  He called such institutions "Marxist Maniacs."  Grabbing universities by their endowments sounds like a very Donald Trump act.  He said famous people are allowed to do such things.

Update 5-13-23:  A fringe Insane Red Presidential candidate suggested raising the voting age to 25 unless the young are in the military or pass a poll test.  Better idea, listen to young people and adapt your platform to make it more appealing.

Red Team Senators insulted citizens performing their civic duty by serving on a jury after one found Trump guilty in a civil suit and rendered a $5 million judgement, pennies for a true billionaire.

Update 5-14-23:  Insane Reds under PEU Governor Glenn Youngkin took another step further down the Trump election fraud rabbit hole.

Election officials in Virginia have announced plans to withdraw the state from a bipartisan effort designed to ensure accurate voter lists and combat fraud.

When Virginia formally withdraws later this year, it will become the eighth Republican-led state to leave the Electronic Registration Information Center.

Virginia was one of the founding members when ERIC was formed in 2012, an effort promoted by then-Republican Gov. Bob McDonnell.

Update 5-22-23:  Civil rights groups issued warnings for people traveling to Florida due to legislators being “openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals.”

Update 5-26-23:  Insane Red Rep. Lauren Boebert said an effort to reduce antisemitism is an attack on conservatism.

Update 6-23-23:  Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito failed to disclose a free luxury fishing trip courtesy of yet another billionaire.   Alito's weightless defense?

....the plane ride wasn’t a significant matter because he “allowed me to occupy what would have otherwise been an unoccupied seat.”

Update 8-13-23:  Three Red Team operatives will pay $50,000 for setting up a fake charity to benefit the people of East Palestine, Ohio.   One was a campaign manager and senior adviser to Republican U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, of Georgia.   Another worked as a campaign staffer for Republican U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik, of New York.
