Biden Out of Fight! Fight! Fight!

Half of my January 2023 wish came true today after President Joe Biden withdrew from the race.

Deal making Donald enticed a new group into his transactional Red camp, billionaire tech bros.  They are there for preferential government treatment, continued billionaire tax breaks and access to Uncle Sam's wallet.  Frankly, it's a good pairing as both techbros and Trump talk nonsense.

The "individual freedom and merit" techboys will soon learn fealty is required, evermore.  I guess they don't check references.

Update 7-22-24:  Donald continued to hammer Joe Biden after his withdrawal from the race, once again showing the nation that he is a bully and not too smart.

Sad Day for United States

The attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump is the latest disturbing event for citizens wanting peaceful, respectful solutions to the many problems our country faces.  Thank heaven the Republican nominee came through "fine" (using the words of his campaign).

It was odd hearing the man who defended January 6th rioters state that violence is unacceptable in the political arena.

Mixed messages sent by elected officials causes confusion and can short out thought processes.  Misinformation adds to brain breakage.  Many drop their principles, blindly supporting their political team.

It's time to elevate leadership, for candidates to drop the "end times" predictions if the other side wins.  It's just an election and no one should lose their life over it.  No one attending a political rally should leave in an ambulance or body bag after being hit by a stray bullet.

We need the Red and Blue political teams to live that reality.  I'd like to think that they can.  I hope they really want to.  I'm not sure that's the case.

Update 7-17-24:  Rhetoric hardly seems toned down.  Unity seems to be a demand from "someone who never backs down."  It is the Insane Red team.

Commander Insight on Biden

The Blue Team is wrestling with the reaction from President Biden's disastrous debate.  Insiders have questioned how Biden's deterioration had been kept hidden away.  CNN reported:

Biden’s appearance in California struck attendees as starkly different from a fundraising gala he attended in March at Radio City Music Hall in New York, one Democrat guest told CNN, when Biden appeared on stage with Obama and former President Bill Clinton.

“There is a marked difference in the president from the spring to the summer,” a senior Democrat told CNN. “He’s just not the same.”

It turns out President Biden is not open to advice from advisors.  Family is the key in decisions going forward and they've circled the wagons.

One Biden adviser, however, said that the first lady and the president’s sister, Valerie Biden Owens, are the only figures in the president’s orbit who could ultimately persuade him to exit the race, and only if they had hard data.

Biden is not know for acting with hard data, at least in the case of his dog Commander.  Fox News reported:

Commander, the Bidens’ two-year-old German Shepherd, reportedly bit Secret Service personnel at least 24 times before he was removed from the White House.

CNN added clarification around the 24 incidents:

That number does not include additional incidents CNN has previously reported involving executive residence staff and other White House workers.
In other words, Biden has staff.  Any decent person would have had the dog euthanized after the second biting incident.  Not Joe Biden.

The incidents took place inside and outside of the White House residence, but also at Biden family homes in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, at Camp David, and in Nantucket, Massachusetts, where the first family spends the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Nantucket home is owned by Carlyle Group co-founder David Rubenstein, a politically connected private equity underwriter (PEU).  Biden's Cabinet is chock full of PEUs and the man who prepped Joe for the debate is one too (Ron Klain).  Klain took heat for not revealing the President's mental decline to Blue Team insiders.

Biden wants to remain Commander-in-Chief.  There may be two Commanders hanging out longer than they should.  It's a mistake treating voters like White House staff.

Update 7-14-24:  Politico reported:

Biden raised his voice over House Dem commander-in-chief concerns: ‘I don’t want to hear that crap.’

Witness Histrionics

Nashville will host this year's Bitcoin Con and former President Donald Trump will headline the event.  Berkshire Hathaway's Charlie Munger was not a fan of cryptocurrencies:

"I think the people who are professional traders that go into trading cryptocurrencies, it's just disgusting," he said. "It's like somebody else is trading turds and you decide, ‘I can't be left out.’"

“Suppose you could make a lot of money trading freshly harvested baby brains," he said. "You wouldn't trade them, would you? It's too awful a concept. To me, Bitcoin is almost as bad. ... I regard the thing as a combination of dementia and immorality. And I think the people pushing it are a disgrace.”

An industry without intrinsic value that appeals to the criminal class.  Yes, Donald Trump is the perfect spokesperson.

Update 9-11-24:  The Trump campaign used artificial intelligence (AI) to make it seem like global phenom Taylor Swift was backing the Donald.  More dementia and immorality.  Swift backed Kamala Harris for President after the Trump-Harris debate.  Two thirds of Americans believe Harris won the debate.

July 4th Sees U.S. Returning to its Roots

The United States of America was formed by white men who owned land.  Thomas Jefferson penned the Declaration of Independence in 1776.  Two years prior Jefferson inherited 11,000 acres of land and 135 slaves from his father in law.  Later in life a dear friend's will provided Jefferson enough money to free his slaves, making that a condition of acceptance.  Jefferson refused.  The ideals of the younger Jefferson fell aside under the profit making needs of Jefferson the older.

Today the United States is characterized by a number of Supreme Court rulings.  Money has been judged free speech.  Those with more money have more speech. Carlyle Group co-founder David Rubenstein owns twelve original copies of the Declaration of Independence.  One has been displayed at Jefferson's Monticello.  Rubenstein's family office bears the name Declaration Partners.

The Supreme Court recently eliminated a number of public safeguards.  The President now has sovereign immunity and can break the law in conducting his official duties.  There can be no examination of motive much less actual criminal behavior.

Government agencies once had priority in court cases regarding regulations.  No more.  The balance of power has shifted to those already with more money, power and influence.

The Red and Blue political teams insist on pushing extremely flawed Presidential candidates.  Voters cannot unsee what little Trump did to stem the violence he incited on January 6th.  We cannot unsee Biden's debate implosion on June 27th, especially those with relatives suffering from cognitive decline.

The Red team wants me to vote for a serial liar and abuser, one with total immunity in a second term.  Not going to happen.  Trump 1 had a pandemic purge.  Trump 2 looks like a societal purge with his "Second American Revolution."   Revolution?  The one where he takes an oath to defend the Constitution using unconstitutional means and methods?  That's worthy of a King or Middle East dictator.

The Blue team wants me to vote for a diminished octogenarian while ignoring legitimate concerns about Biden's mental capacity.   The Blues went low calling such people "bed-wetters."  Who's the 81 year old acting like a nursing home patient?  Maybe Joe knows bed-wetting.  Maybe he doesn't.  Maybe he can't remember.  It feels like the twilight of the Biden Presidency.

Today, let's set that aside and celebrate our country's white male landowners claiming independence from King George.  Tomorrow we can worry about the race to be our new King and the problematic people seeking that office and to whom they are beholden.

Update 7-6-24:   America deserves better candidates, much better.  The Reds and Blues are recalcitrant to feedback, i.e learning.
