Bibi's Chutzpah at WEF

Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at the World Economic Forum at Davos, Switzerland. The crowd was likely thankful for a change in topic from the crippling, world-wide financial meltdown and how to rebuild in the midst of a firestorm. Mr. Netanyahu is running for Prime Minister in Israel. He offered his assessment of world priorities:

Likud Party Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday said that preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons ranks above the economy in the challenges facing the leaders of the 21st century.

Apparently Israel is the center of the world.

"We have never had, since the dawn of the nuclear age, nuclear weapons in the hands of such a fanatical regime," said Netanyahu.

Really? Which nuclear state attacked its democratic neighbor to the north in 2006? Which nuclear armed country in the Middle East put Gaza under a two year siege, before unleashing a month long pummeling?

President Obama's description of an aggressive state in his inauguration speech fit Israel to a "T". Yet, Obama declared fealty to the U.S.-Israel blood brotherhood. That indicates more violent tampering in the region.
